The Story So Far

Writer/Producer of Princess Pumpalot: The Farting Princess, Robin Mitchell, explains how the Princess came about.

While on holiday in Ireland in August 2011, the children's character Princess Pumpalot: The Farting Princess was born. I was staying with family in Dublin and on one particular rainy day, the idea for a farting princess was hatched.

Seasonal Greetings from all the Wiffyville Royal Household (and Guffy).

2015 was quite a year for us with a variety of interesting projects including the Italian premiere of Princess Pumpalot: The Farting Princess and another very successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A BIG thank you to everyone who is coming along to our shows.

2016 will be equally exciting with further development of the animation project before we turn our attention to the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a brand NEW show (more to follow).

Wishing everyone a fartingly good 2016.

From #Fart2015 to #Fart2016

As one Fringe Festival curtain closes another Fringe Festival door opens. Plans are already well advanced for our new Princess Pumpalot show for the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Writer Robin Mitchell is presently penning ideas for the new stage show - The Princess Pumpalot Radio Show (Live On Stage). A version of this show was tested to a receptive audience at the Leith Festival in June 2015 and the response was so positive we decided to base the 2016 Fringe show on this new quest.

We are pleased to be included in this list of Top Kids Shows at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This is what they said:

"She’s a princess and she farts…what more do you need to know?

Based on the hugely popular children’s book, this show is set to leave little ones giggling away as they watch Princess Pumpalot try her best to protect Wiffyville Castle from Low-Flying Gnomes. It’s been a huge success in previous years so make sure you get your tickets early!
