National Libraries Day

Princess Pumpalot at Gorebridge Library as part of National Libraries Day

On Saturday 8th February, Princess Pumpalot creator Robin Mitchell was reading from his book at Gorebridge Library in Midlothian. His visit was part of National Libraries Day, a week long catalogue of events in schools, colleges, work places and public libraries across the UK.

The event was a fun-packed mix of costumes, props and funny voices with a number of the children reading sections from the book. A BIG THANKS goes to Robin Mitchell's old sparring (and reading) partner, Cameron Pirie, who once again joined in the fun.
